AP DIETCET 2017 Notification:

AP DEETCET (APDIETCET) 2017 Notification: Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance test popularly known as AP DEECET (AP DIETCET) and examination details will be declared by the Department of School Education on behalf of Government of AP. This is also known as TTC 2017 notification. The examinations is conducted for the students who intend to take admissions into two years  Diploma in Education (D.Ed) in Government District Institution of Educational Training (DIET’s) and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2017-18. AP DIETCET 2017 Application Fee:

  • Candidates of all categories are required to pay Rs 500/-.
  • The Fee may be paid at any AP Online/Mee-Seva/E-seva Centers in AP/Telangaba and through payment Gateway (Credit Card/Debit card/Net Banking).

AP DIETCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates should have completed 17 years on or before December 2017 to appear for AP  DEECET 2017
  • Candidates should have domicile of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Candidates should have completed 10+2 from recognized board or institution.
  • Candidates should secure 50% aggregate marks for General Category; SC/ST candidates should have scored 45% aggregate
  • Mathematics: Those who studied Mathematics as a subject at Intermediate level.
  • Physical Science: Those who studied Physics & Chemistry as subjects at Intermediate level.
  • Biological Science: Those who studied Botany & Zoology as subjects at Intermediate level.
  • Social Studies: Those who studied any of two subjects out of Civics, Economics, History, Geography and Commerce at Intermediate level Note

 AP DIETCET 2017 Exam Pattern:

  • Exam time span will be of 3 hours.
  • Paper will divided in to 3 parts:


  1. General Knowledge  – 5 Marks
  2. Teaching Aptitude    – 5 Marks


  1. General English      – 10 Marks
  2. Telugu                       – 20 Marks


  1. Mathematics             – 20 Marks
  2. Physical Sciences     – 10 Marks
  3. Biological Sciences  – 10 Marks
  4. Social Studies           – 20 Marks

Part-II and Part-III Syllabus is VIII, IX and X class syllabus.
