The Board conducts the public examinations at Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary levels twice in a year in the state of Haryana. The responsibilities of the board are to promote, supervise and streamline the education system at all levels in the schools and colleges that comes under the affiliation of HBSE. Because of the consistent measures taken by the board and efforts put forth by the HBSE, the literacy rate in the Haryana state has tremendously increased from the past few years.
