KEAM Engineering Entrance Test Results 2018:
Kerala Engineering/Pharmacy Entrance Examination-2018 Scores: The scores secured by candidates in the Engineering/Pharmacy Entrance Examination, Kerala-2018 are published herewith. The results are available on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates can login to their home page through the link ‘KEAM-2018 Candidate Portal’ and then click the menu item ‘Result’ to view the results.
Of the 90233 students appeared for both the papers of the Engineering Entrance Examination, 58268 students have qualified under Engineering Stream and 47974 students have qualified under Pharmacy stream out of the 64795 students opted and appeared for the Pharmacy Entrance Examination (Paper I of the Engineering Entrance Examination).
The scores secured for Engineering Entrance Examination have been prepared on the basis of the Entrance Examination conducted on 23 rd ( Paper-I: Physics & Chemistry) and 24 th (Paper-II: Mathematics) of April 2018. Candidates who have not appeared for any one or for both the papers of the Engineering Entrance Examination and those who have scored less than 10 (with exception of SC/ST candidates) in each paper of the Engineering Entrance Examination have been ‘Disqualified’ (DQLFD) under Engineering stream. The score secured for Pharmacy Entrance Examination is the index mark calculated as per clause 9.7.4(f) of the Prospectus for KEAM 2018 and those candidates who have not scored a minimum mark of 10 out of the index of 480 (with exception of SC/ST candidates) have been disqualified under Pharmacy Stream. The results of 1772 candidates under Engineering/Pharmacy stream have been withheld (WHELD) for various reasons. The results of such candidates will be released as and when the reasons for withholding the results are cleared.
The Answer Keys of the Engineering Entrance Examination were published on 24.04.2018. A few complaints regarding the questions / answer keys have been received and the same were examined by Expert Committees constituted for the purpose. Based on the recommendations of the Expert Committees, the following modifications have been made in the Answer Keys of the Engineering Entrance Examination.

Accordingly, Six (6) questions have been deleted from valuation in Engineering Paper II (Mathematics). The score obtained for the remaining 114 questions has been multiplied by (120/114) to determine the score in Engineering Paper II (Mathematics), corrected to four decimal places. The above formula is applied to award proportionate scores based on the score obtained by the candidate for the questions considered for evaluation (excluding deleted questions) and to compensate the loss of scores for the deleted questions. The scores obtained by the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of the Engineering Entrance Examination. is added to get the total score of the candidate in the Engineering Entrance Examination.
Valuation of the OMR answer scripts is computerized and is hence error-free. There is no provision for revaluation of answer scripts or re-checking of marks in this system of evaluation.
Those candidates who have qualified in the Engineering Entrance Examination will have to submit/verify the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examination (Plus Two or equivalent) for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology in order to prepare the Engineering rank list 2018. The facility for submission/verification of marks online will be made available in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in in due course. Detailed notification for submission of marks in the qualifying examination will be issued separately.
The Engineering rank list will be prepared by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the Engineering Entrance Examination (Paper I and Paper II put together), and the grade/marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology put together in the final year of the qualifying examination, after effecting the standardization procedure as described in Clause 9.7.4 (b)(iii) of the Prospectus for KEAM 2018. The marks as given in the mark list of the final year of the qualifying examination (Plus Two or equivalent) only will be considered for preparation of Engineering Rank list. The Engineering Rank list will be published in the 3rd week of June 2018.
The rank list for B.Pharm course shall be prepared on the basis of the index mark calculated as per clause 9.7.4(f) of the Prospectus for KEAM 2018 out of the marks obtained in Paper-I (Physics & Chemistry) of the Engineering Entrance Examination and the Pharmacy rank list will be published in the 3rd week of June, 2018.
The results of candidates claiming SC/ST benefits, but whose community claims have not been cleared by the Screening Committee constituted for the purpose, have been withheld. Similarly, the results of some other candidates who have not submitted the required documents to correct the defects in their application for KEAM 2018 or for some other reasons have also been withheld. But all such candidates will be allowed to submit the marks obtained by them in the Qualifying Examination online for the preparation of Engineering Rank list.
