The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is a statutory and autonomous body established under the “Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act” 1965. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the results of HSC Class 12th exam is on 30 May 2017. The exams are usually held in the months of March, and October every year and results are given out usually in May, and June respectively. March marks the end of educational year, and June marks beginning of the new educational year in the state of Maharashtra. Students awaiting their results can check their scores on the official Website mahresult.nic.in or www.schools9.com.
The board is expected to release the class 12 results of more than 5.59 lakh students who have appeared for the science stream, 5.09 lakh students for arts, 3.73 students for commerce and 62,948 students for the minimum competency vocational course (MCVC). for the class 12th HSC exams this year. For February-March 2017 exams out of which 2,42,628 students are from Pune division. Meanwhile, across Maharashtra, of the total students, 8,48,929 are boys while 6,56,436 are girls, appearing from 9,143 junior colleges across the state. The maximum students are from Science faculty (5,59,423) followed by Arts (5,09,124) Commerce (3,73,870) and 62,148 students for Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC).There are a total of 2,710 examination centres across the nine divisions of Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amaravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan.
Candidates wishing to file applications for revaluation of marks can submit the prescribed form after receiving the original marksheet till June 9 at the respective divisional board office. The application form will be made available on the board website. The application must have a photocopy of the original marksheet, the board statement said, adding that marks Sheet printouts will not be accepted for revaluation.
Candidates can also avail a photocopy of their answer sheet after the results are declared. Students must fill up the prescribed form online and pay the required fees between May 31 and June 19. Students must contact their respective colleges for details of acquiring photocopy of the answer sheet.
